Erin O’Connor

Erin O’Connor is an Environmental Engineering graduate student at Columbia University, currently completing her MS degree. Her prior educational background includes a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University, and three AS degrees from Middlesex College. This past summer Erin was an Engineering Intern with Reworld Waste, following up past internships at PSEG (summer 2025) and MasTec (summer 2024).

Outside of academics, Erin is a manager at Panera Bread and plays on the Columbia Women’s Rugby team. She enjoys any opportunities to learn new skills or topics, and is always busy with her various projects. In the future Erin looks forward to combining the wisdom learned during the PDL sessions with her coursework to a career in Sustainability Engineering.
